BRAZILIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY SACRAMENTO STREET FESTIVAL is the first Brazilian street festival in Sacramento celebrating the beautiful folkloric arts and culture of Brazil! The FREE family friendly festival is an spectacular demonstration of diverse Brazilian folkloric arts and music performances. The festival has become a growing attraction in Sacramento since the first festival was launched in 2013. The annual event will be held in the beginning of September on 20th street between J and K in the heart of midtown. EVERY YEAR IS A NEW THEME WITH SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCES!

These festivals have significant impacts in the growth of cultural arts in communities. In Sacramento, our organization has created partnerships between municipal government, businesses, foundations, schools, colleges and independent artists to increase the positive impact the festival has in the area of Sacramento.

There are many parking lots around 20th street to park and attend the festival. The Sacramento Parking Department and Sponsor of festival suggests the parking lot on 17th street between Capitol street and L street. Please follow the link for rates and a map.
